New Employee Training Experience - Zhu Weina

On May 9, 2017, Sinogene (Shenzhen) Gene Industry Development Co., Ltd. conducted an onboarding training for newly hired employees in the multimedia function hall. Although information is mainly conveyed through lectures by lecturers, there are also DVD promotional videos that showcase the company's major events and product related knowledge from the past two decades. This training includes the company's overview, system, management philosophy, corporate culture, and future development strategy. At the same time, it also strengthens the education of party building - loving the party and loving the enterprise, allowing me to have a clearer understanding of the current situation of the company and providing direction for my next learning and work. As long as I have direction, I can save more time and increase work efficiency. I am very happy and touched. I have learned a lot and improved a lot, while also further realizing my own shortcomings. I sincerely thank the company leaders for providing us with such a valuable opportunity for improvement.
Company Vision: We hope that Sinovac Biotech may go down in history for its outstanding contributions in the important fields of gene therapy, such as research and development of viral vectors, construction of industrial technology platforms, large-scale commissioned production, and product quality control! Motivating and guiding me, allowing me to invest my wisdom and work with the company to achieve this vision.
The company's social mission is to strive to promote basic research in gene therapy projects, develop them into clinical trials until the final product is successfully launched, and provide groundbreaking new and good drugs for humanity to overcome difficult to treat diseases such as malignant tumors, cardiovascular diseases, and genetic diseases! Under the guidance of a clear image positioning, the business activities of the enterprise will always indicate this to the public, rather than being fickle.
The overall goal of the company is to build a CMO platform, develop several genetic new drugs, serve a group of customers, promote a refined industry (i.e. gene therapy industry), make its own contribution to the cause of human health, strive to achieve "cancer free world" as soon as possible, and contribute its own strength to Sinovac. Very inspiring and inspiring, I have full confidence and hope in its realization, and am willing to contribute all my strength to it.
The company has three competitive advantages: 1. The advantage of having the industrial production process and quality standards for recombinant human p53 adenovirus injection approved by the State Food and Drug Administration; 2. Having the international reputation advantage of being the world's first gene therapy drug on the market; 3. At present, the pilot reform of the new national policy "Drug Marketing Authorization Holder System" and the support advantages of the "Green Channel" will be available. Shortcomings of the company: 1. Lack of sound production and quality management system; 2. Qualifications that have not obtained national approval (drug production license, drug GMP certificate, approval number re registration approval). From this, it can be seen that the company is correctly interpreting its own strengths and weaknesses at the current stage, and is also correcting its shortcomings, striving to make the most of its strengths and weaknesses, and working hard for the future of the company.
In the face of long-term development, the company's belief (that taking human health as a responsibility is the source of blessings) is the refueling station for Sainuo people to move forward, allowing us to forget our fatigue and bravely reach new heights.
Mr. Zhang vividly compared the development history of the company with the development process of New China. They are so similar. The current state of the company is in the early stage of economic development in New China, when the platform provided a good opportunity for every employee to showcase their talents and value. Rationally viewing the problems of the enterprise can bring about results, and we should not use extreme words and behaviors. We should have a correct attitude, let go and strive, and attach ourselves to the development of the enterprise and have our own position.
Although I have gained a lot from this training, I have also discovered many shortcomings that I need to continuously improve in my future work. I believe that through my continuous efforts to learn, humbly seek advice, and overcome difficulties, I will definitely make continuous progress.
